When Cammie "The Chameleon" Morgan visits her roommate Macey in Boston, she thinks she's in for an exciting end to her summer break. After all, she's there to watch Macey's father accept the nomination for vice president of the United States. But when you go to the world's best school (for spies), "exciting" and "deadly" are never far apart. Cammie and Macey soon find themselves trapped in a kidnappers' plot, with only their espionage skills to save them.

As her junior year begins, Cammie can't shake the memory of what happened in Boston, and even the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women doesn't feel like the safe haven it once did. Shocking secrets and old flames seem to lurk around every one of the mansion's corners as Cammie and her friends struggle to answer the questions, Who is after Macey? And how can the Gallagher Girls keep her safe?

Soon Cammie is joining Bex and Liz as Macey's private security team on the campaign trail. The girls must use their spy training at every turn as the stakes are raised, and Cammie gets closer and closer to the shocking truth..

Don't Judge A Girl
Customer Rating: 4 out of 5
My Thoughts: We are once again introduced to the girls and their adventures! Except this time, there is real danger! They are not so much learning now, they are actually helping their friend out! Macey is in real trouble! Someone wants to hurt her and will do anything to achieve this goal!
I don't want to give too many spoilers for this one! You just need to read it if you haven't. Read the other two first! So, what is the symbol Cammie knows she has seen before? Why does someone want to hurt Macey? I really enjoyed reading this book. But I really wanted to see Zach more. Is he on Cammie's side or is he really working for the enemy? He was always around the corner somewhere but I just felt like I wanted a little more romance between him and Cammie. I wanted more talking, more kissing, and more interaction! The best part of this book was the ending! It made me want to read the next book which does not come out for half a year! I was surprised at the ending. I was not expecting that to happen! I just really hope Zach is around more in the next book!

Overall: Really liked it but wanted more Zach Zach Zach.

Ally Carter WOWs us again with this book!
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
WOW! What can I say? Ally Carter once again writes a fascinating story continuing the Gallagher Girls story! I found myself reading straight through, unable to put it down! With each book, the series just gets better and better!

Don't Judge A Girl By Her Cover is very well written, and in this book you see the girls and others grow more and more. Don't Judge A Girl By Her Cover is action packed, and leaves you questioning the true intent of characters.

This is DEFINATELY a must read that leaves readers impatiently waiting for Book 4!

I love this book!

I'm writing this for my 12 year old daughter:

This is a witty, entertaining book that will keep you up reading all night (shhh). Cammie is a great character that you will have no trouble identifying with other than the fact that she's a spy. I love her friends, especially Liz. Good character development, her world draws you in, and the plot is just as good as the first and second in this series. You also get to see Zac again!

Teenage girls: Makeup, Boys, and learning how to be the world's best spies.
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
I've followed the series since book one, and they just keep getting better. The boy drama, the friendships, and the absolutely brilliant work of Ally Carter join to create the perfect spy novel for young adults. It's suspenseful and page-turning, without being too serious for young kids. As a young teenager myself, I can say that I really love these books. And the ending will leave you excited, and most likely with your jaw on the floor.

don't confuse a reader with your ending...

I LOVE the Galagher girls. I LOVE ALLY CARTER!!! She ROCKS!!! I have insisted that my friends read them/buy them and have bought multipule copies. The first one was fabulous, the second one EVEN BETTER. But the third one? Hmm. I don't think it had the snappy, hilarious prose that I enjoyed so much from the first one. And, the ending didn't leave me wanting more, it left me confused, as if the publisher forgot to include the last several chapters. I know there will be a sequel. I would expect that even if this story came with an actual 'ending'. There were just too many loose ends. However, I'm not sure if this is the author's choice, or the marketing/publisher's choice. Having read Ms. Carter's first Gallagher book, I suspect the latter. I will certainly buy the next one, in fact I can't wait!! But I really, really hope I don't close the 4th book feeling quite so frustrated.
