| Engrossing but more romance! |

I devour JR Ward's BDbrotherhood books so I couldn't wait to read this. I didn't even start this series in order, I picked up Rhage's story first, and then went back and started Dark Lover, Wrath's story. I have to admit, my favorite brother is Butch, I just love him!! I love Rhev, too but I agree with other reviews, his story didn't get enough attention in this book! Too much going on and not enough romance/sex! Is she doing what Sandra Brown did, move away from Romance into suspence to sell more books? I hope not, I can't even read Sandra Brown anymore! Back to the BBD, I am so bored with the lessers, I tend to just speed through those parts, these guys have no personality so they don't make a great villan! The sympath princess was a better villaness, her I could get into. The lessers, snooze. I am very anxiously awaiting the next book...I hope it's more like her earlier books in this series. We don't need to much action and fighting, it's about character developement and romance! After this one, I hope she writes a book on Tohr, maybe he can find true love again and be happy, I hope so!

This was a very good continuation of the black dagger brotherhood series, however. The scenes between rev and his lady are few and far between and the sex scenes even fewer than that. Even though they are supposed to be the leads of this book, they were actually more of an afterthought. The Romance in this vampire romance was very weak. But it was still a well written story overall, just not much of a romance.

I was hooked on the Black Dagger Brotherhood series over the summer.....very juicy!!!!!!! Think a very adult version of the Twilight series! This book does a good job of answering questions and introducing new story lines. A must read if you have followed all of the Black Dagger Brotherhood books.
