This 10-track CD is the latest in purchases from the "Masterbeat" category. Spring Break 2007 offers some great songs and mixing done by DJ Brett Henricksen.
The CD starts off with a nice little tune from Iio called "Is It Love," and then just keeps getting better and better. Some standout tracks are #5 "Put the Needle on the Drum," by Scotty K. vs. M.A.R.R.S. This is a revamp on M.A.R.R.S. huge dance hit and really hammers out a great dance tune. Offer Nissam also appears with "Be My Boyfriend"--not his best effort, but still a huge cut above what usually goes on mix CDs, and he also does the mix for "Be Alright," which was on his "Forever Tel Aviv" CD. My personal favorite is track #8 called "He'd Never," by Liquid Sunshine. I have not previously heard anything by this group; I don't know who does lead vocals, but I intend to find out. This song has a great, driving beat and even though it is very much "up" tempo, if you listen closely, you can hear just how sad the song really is.
I LOVE THIS CD, and I highly recommend it.
