I wish it was longer, but it was a very motivating film. I watched it well over a dozen times. I thought it was amazing and I LOVED how they portrayed Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. Splendid performance.

The story of the civil rights heroine whose refusal to obey racial bus segregation was just one of her acts in her fight for justice. The performance of Angela Bassett in this movie is great. Rosa Parks serves as a shining inspiration to many Americans, and she has instilled in them, the indispensable spirituality, to covet the privilege of freedom, and to cherish the right of equality.

I knew this was going to be amazing because of the people behind it but it should be stated anyway. It made me mad, it made me cry. It was a movie that will cause an emotional reaction if you are human. I am asian and the racist crap I put up with was different but it always hits home to see a film like this. Amazing.

WONDERFUL MOVIE. I'M 60 YEARS OLD, SO I REMEMBER THE BLACKS SITTING IN THE BACK OF THE BUS. I'D HEARD OF ROSA PARKS, BUT WANTED TO SEE THE WHOLE STORY. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL, STORY. SHOULD MAKE THE BLACK PEOPLE PROUD, AS THIS MAY HAVE BEEN THE TURNING POINT TOWARDS EQUALITY

This is a great video. My students often REQUEST to see this movie. It also has a great interactive timeline. I only wish that the timeline had little video clips with it, but it is all reading about that event.
