I like this little radio a lot. The sound quality is good and long range signals can be picked up.It is so light weight, I can hang it on a low branch, with the built-in strap, when working in the yard. The sound comes out the front and back of the radio. The antenna stays down for AM and is easy to adjust for FM. For just a few dollars, this Panasonic radio is a winner.

I just bought this little puppy because we recently found ourselves in a power outage and the only DC radios in the house needed "c" sized batteries, which I never keep on hand. So I started looking for a little radio that would run on a couple of AA's, which I buy in bulk and always have on hand. I admit that since I purchased it for emergency use situations, I have only used it once, when it arrived, to check out the sound. I was very pleased with what I heard. My favorite NPR stations came in crisp and clear. This little guy pulled up these stations with much better reception than either of our counter-top radio/CD players. We live quite a distance from the stations and I am just amazed at how clear they come in. I have not tried it on AM because I never listen to AM radio. The controls are easy to use. I did not read the manual at all and was easily able to manage the radio. The antenna only moves swings up and down and does not swivel. I don't expect this to be a problem because the radio is so small, it's easy to turn it around to achieve the same effect as swiveling the antenna.

I really love this simple "two knobs" little radio.
I usually slide it inside my zip lock and hang it from my beach umbrella while catching a nap . At night, I can tune it real low for some distant AM station without disturbing my spouse .
I just had it for over two weeks but I already gave the Ipods to my kids since this Panny does have a speaker and an AM/FM tuner.
Best 10 bucks I've spent this year !

I needed a small radio for my desk and that I could keep in my mailbox when I'm not there. I love it. It's compact, the sound quality very good and simple to use.
It's a good product if you need something compact and simple. I've been playing christmas carols and everyone keeps hanging around my desk to listen to it.
