Why this album isn't getting the attention it deserves is a mystery. The album goes through a vast erray of club beats and sounds from tribal, to pop, to hard house, to R&B and if you've ever seen Kevin perform his songs you would see how effortlessly he can go from one to the other. Perhaps one needs to have seen Kevin live to appreciate some of the songs, but once you have, you will want to hear this album over and over and get that mental picture in your head of him turning it out with his signiture moves and distinctive and powerful voice. I still think that this CD makes a perfect party CD from start to finish.

I bought this CD because I live in New York, and I'm always seeing Kevin in NEXT magazine. He's always performing at local events and parties, so I figured I'd give this cd a shot. WHAT A WASTE. This music is ridiculous chanting and babbling on about random crap. It's not even interesting on an artistic level. Seriously, I hope Kevin's new stuff is better than this.

After this album bombed, Wave music dropped this guy.. and for good reason. Its amazingly bad.. Kevin seems to have a lot of confidence but that only makes the end result more embarassing. One only needs to listen to the Real Audio samples of "The Need" or "Do You Know Me" to know exactly what I mean... He may be regarded well as a performer to a small clique of [...] NYC clubgoers, but there's a reason he isn't a success outside of his home turf. superiority complex + lack of talent = kevin aviance

I remember Kevin Aviance when he used to perform at a local club by the name of "Escuelita's" in New York City. He is quite a performer/entertainer. He definately has stage presence and knows how to get your attention! But anyway back to his album. If you're a house music fan like I am, than this is a must have to your collection. Kevin first got our attention with "Din Da Da" Now he wants us to know that rhythm is his! This CD will make you dance your ass off! I wish Kevin a successful career and hope he can put out even better stuff in the future.
