As one of my favorite recording artists, I must say that Tiffany is more than deserving of a 2-Disc Compilation. This woman has been in the business for over twenty years, and has some amazing singles, album tracks, as well as collaborations and rarities - its about time someone woke up and smelt the coffee! What is her record label (or rather, ex record label MCA) doing about all the wonderful Tiff stuff they have access to?
That said, this is a woefully short compilation album that gathers together all of Tiffany's best known songs from 1987-1989. But thats IT. Not even one song from the 1990s or 2000s? What's wrong with these compilation creators? By no means is this the only Tiffany compilation available (the Japanese "All The Best" is better, but still not comprehensive), but its sad that this is how she is going to be best remembered.
If you thought "I Think We're Alone Now" is the seminal Tiffany anthem, then you're wrong. Her second US No.1 "Could've Been" is the better song, despite being a ballad. On this album, we also have her first actual single "Danny", plus some gems from her sophomore CD such as "All This Time" (A Billboard Top 10 Singles hit) as well as the cheesy "Radio Romance". There is no mention or homage to her 1990 CD "New Inside", which is a pity.
Tiffany's best work of her career would come later in life (such as 2000's "The Color of Silence", recorded in her late twenties) and the underrated "Dreams Never Die" (a wholly unknown album in the United States), and she has so many collaborations and covers in her catalog that you might just need to join one of her underground fan communities to truly discover her music output.
Skip this release. Try getting all her studio albums instead, and you'll be thanking me. This is one recording star that is worth investing in, and thats saying something, in this day and age.

And her music wasn't bad either. I never understood why Debbie (sorry, I heard that she chops your head off if you don't say Deborah) Gibson received all of the fan worship while poor Tif was pushed into a corner (perhaps it had to do with those little "New Kids on the Block" freaks and their insane jealousy that she dated Jordan Knight for five minutes back then, but whatever). Her ballads are much more poetic than Debbie's and I think that her voice is quite a bit richer. "Danny" is a great song and worth the price of the cd, but the other songs (save for "Radio Romance", which even as a 11 year old girl struck me as annoying) are quite good and deserve another listen.

This CD is a delight from start to finish...
If you listened to the radio from 1987 to 1990,
I promise that you heard most of these songs...
Some, maybe only a few times, others at least a hundred !
Of course her (awesome) "trademark" hit is on this collection,
"I Think We're Alone Now"... Fun tune, but there is so much more
to Tiffany than that !
She proves her clout with beautiful ballads such as the
top ten hit "All This Time", alongside the tunes "Could've Been" and
"Here In My Heart"...
What a voice she has !!! Powerful and emotional !
Her very first single "Danny" is not to be missed...
It's the kind of song you want to
hear over and over again after the first listen.
And you can't help but "tap your feet" to her more
"upbeat singles" such as
"Radio Romance" and "I Saw Him Standing There"....
It's no wonder she sounds so good on her brand new album "Just Me"...
This Greatest Hits Package (showcasing her teen years) gives
us a sneak peak at an AMAZING vocalist in the making !!!
The only thing that disappointed me is this CD does not feature
the single "New Inside" (From The 1990 album of the same name).
