I love the dance tunes on here. The "Prisoner of Love" is cool also. There is also a good interview with LaWanda Page about trying to quit smoking on the "Stinky Dinky" intro. It's pretty funny. I also love the songs "House Of Love" "Everybody Dance" and "All Of A Sudden." I know I know everyone loves "Supermodel" and i like it too but i like to hear every now and then. So if u wanna boogie like there's no tomorrow then pick this up don't worry that it's by a drag queen he's still loves to dance just like you. Later

The first and the best album by RuPaul! This sit eh album that you can sing along to. You can dance to it. You can sway to it. You can laugh to it! Whatever you're doing, you can do listening to this CD. "Supermodel" is a great song. His biggest hit! Real campy and empowering too! You can be a supermodel! Just believe in yourself! Man or woman! "Back to My Roots" is another campy song but the message is there! It's all about the metaphors, honey! RuPaul pays hommage to Chic with "Every Dance" which sounds as if Chic were actually performing the song! Why RuPaul didn't earn a Grammy nod for this album, I don't know. Give it to the drag queen! I mean, he actually posed in those stilletos! COme one! That takes a lot! And to sing, too!

There's just something about RuPaul. With a sense of fun and play that is evocative and provocative at the same time, RuPaul brings out the devil in me. Not in a bad way, more in a playful way. A naughty way, if you will. Great party music...it's got a great beat, and you can dance to it!

I love "Back To My Roots" the only song I know that's all about Black Hair Styles. Also, I love the references Ru made to the movie "Paris Is Burning" in her song "Supermodel" you know the ("Shante, shante, shante, part"). Can I also add that this CD is groundbreaking. RuPaul was doing "Happy Hardcore" music a la "Everybody Dance" years before there was a term for it in the rave scene.
