  • In Sarah, the first biography released of Governor Palin, author Kaylene Johnson draws upon personal interviews with Palin, her family, and other highly placed sources to explore Palin's family life, her upbringing in a devout Christian home, her political rise, and how she went from being a long-shot candidate to--potentially--one of the world's most powerful women and political figures. The book features dozens of family and political photos and contains source notes. An Epicenter Press book, distributed by Tyndale House. Tyndale will also provide a free online discussion guide designed to engage readers on the subject of faith and politics: www.FaithandPoliticsDiscussionGuide.com.

To Reason Why is not the question. Someone left this book behind and there was not a thing to look at while I waited patentiently for my appointment. The pain of the extraction was not as awful as reading this work making me wonder if the tree huggers are right. Certainly a waste of a good tree to deliever a prduct that at best might serve to stablize a table with a leg too short. Her impressive background might place her on a par with the Virgin Mary or in political terms more of a Mary Magdalane. She is a true Fairey Princess of high moral values and thical standards that are so low you could trip over them. Idaho's loss is our pain and the lunatic fringe's gain. I strongly recommend this book for the weak minded. Two stars I have awared this book simply for the fact that the publisher deserves credit for being able to make a small mint off the fools that still don't have a hint about this leader of dimwits.

    A true patriot

I loved this book. To be honest, there has been alot of controversy over Sarah Palin and I wanted to read up on her background and form my own opinion. I couldn't put the book down. It was easy to read and in a time of economical, political, and ethical uncertainty this book was able excite me and encourage me. She is not just another politician. She is a strong, God-centered, family oriented woman who happens to be in politics. She embodies honesty, integrity, and transparency. She is a breath of fresh air.

I got this book for myself and one for my brother. We both loved the book very much. It was interesting and not boring at all.

    Complete Idiot!

If you want to see the real Sarah Palin just go to [...] and listen to her mindless rants. Come on she's a complete moron. I hope that people don't look up to her they'd be just as stupid.

    Cuts through the mud
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
What an enigma. Sarah Palin is a hard to know from available writings in the marketplace of ideas. So, this book cuts through the mud. It is short on politics and long on personality. It is not a book to dig out political positions of Alaska's former governor, but it is a good book to see how she came to be what she is. It becomes clear in this book that through her life and its experiences, she is a strong-willed person who sets her face like a flint toward the direction she wishes to go. From the stories of her high school experiences to the stories regarding her political positioning, it became apparent to me that this is a person whom I would like to know -- a different opinion than that of what I had from merely reading what others say about her.
