  •        Whether it’s the loveless marriage, family frustrations, the dead-end job, or all the other stressors that result in a health issue that won’t go away, most people have some prototypical problem that has caused them to get stuck in a rut and feel lost and confused. . . . And in just about every city or town, you can find a psychic advisor who will offer to advise you about these topics . . . often for a hefty sum of money. But these types of “fortune tellers” give you only limited advice—more like a weather report. They tell you if things will get better or get worse, whether the boyfriend or girlfriend you just broke up with come back, whether that check you’ve been waiting for will be in the mail, or whether your loved one’s health will improve. All that’s left is for you to go home and wait for things to happen.

Well, there must be a better way to learn how to deal with issues that affect your health . . . and there is! In this enlightening book, Mona Lisa Schulz, M.D., Ph.D., shows you how to combine intuition with intelligence to solve your most pressing health problems. But she’s not your run-of-the-mill intuitive. Described as a psychic doctor with humor, solutions, and credentials, Dr. Mona Lisa gives you no-nonsense, grounded, practical, in-your-face solutions on how to fix the relationship, or job/family/physical/emotional problem. She also explains how to deal with many ailments that affect your well-being, including fatigue, allergies, skin problems, weight, digestion, depression, anxiety, and much more. By mastering the “7 Rules for Intuitive Health,” you can learn to intuitively conquer pain and suffering and create a life filled with health and happiness.

I would doubt anything the dr. writes.
Customer Rating: 1 out of 5
As a former patient of hers here in Maine I can tell you this. Medical degrees do NOT make the person. This Dr. was a horrible medical practitioner in every way. From lack of diagnosis to cutting and pasting of other doctors reports rather then performing the tests she was paid well over 500.00 for. I don't mean tests such as MRI and such. She totally dismissed me as a person and a patient. It was only after an MRI Brain damage and atrophy was seen from the motor vehicle accident. A test she could have ordered and something she SHOULD have picked up on with accurate skills testing as another doctor did. I would not waste your money on her books. Her personality and "skills" with my case were negligent in every way. I PAID her for help and instead was dismissed and was considered malinger in her opinion. It is my opinion her books are not to help you or care about you as to sell books. Period...

Dr. Mona Lisa Schulz is Amazing

The intuitive advisor is a reference that should be on everyone's bookshelf. It provides a great resource for understanding how physical symptoms in the body can manifest from im-balance in our day to day lives. Mona Lisa organizes her book according to the 7 chakras and the associated lifestyle extremes that create im-balance. She provides advice on how to modify your life in order to bring the chakras into balance, with the intention of bringing the body back to harmony. I love her humor and have found her advice to be very helpful.

    Not on the same wavelength
Customer Rating: 2 out of 5
This book was highly recommended but I could not relate to it. It is about the thinking and writing style, not the subject matter, since Judith Orloff, who covers some of the same territory, is one of my favorites. I can't put my finger on why I could not read her except to say that her style was somewhat non-linear. I gave the books away.

Chockful of insight, humor and practical advice
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
Mona Lisa is the best medical intuitive. Her writing is witty and makes so much sense. She does a wonderful of job of explaining how illness is tied to a chakra and why - how disruption in your life can unbalance the chakra centers causing illness. It is a complete book - not just connections between mind, body & spirit, but what you can actually do to help change the situation. Some books might tell you why you get sick the way you do, but you need the practical way to improve your health and be on the lookout for any problem areas - to become your own intuitive advisor.

This book really has it all - the spiritual side of health issues and basic "western medicine" views..or if that's politically incorrect both a left brain and a right brain approach to illness and healing. I like that because I agree with her approach that the two complement healing - I think her good friend Caroline Myss once said you don't treat cancer with brown rice - and this seems to fit in with Mona Lisa's philosophy - sometimes you have to bring out the big medical guns to get to healing - in addition to addressing and correcting situations that create emotional overload in various areas of your life. She manages to explain her concepts at a level that someone without a medical background can really relate to. (But you'll have to get the book because I can't explain it here the way she can so clearly explain all the details.)

There's so much information that I know I have to read it through again - and besides she's very funny!

    Brilliant!

Mona Lisa takes an extremely complex subject and makes it uncomplicated, understandable and highly useful. This is no simple accomplishment! Like its author, this book is both extraordinary and brilliant.
