Being a huge fan of the BDB, this was the perfect book to fill in some additional stories. It was a great balance of the fictional world and reality. I wasn't the hugest fan of reading about Ward's writing process but I just skipped those parts. Overall, a good addition to the series.

Love the series but don't necessarily feel this book was necessary. The only reason I bought it was because it does have a few chapters of the series that are necessary if you're a fan of the books.

| Don't bother for the Kindle 2 |

This 'optimized' version is awful on the Kindle 2. There are many interview sections that are so small you can not read them. I increased the font to max and was able to get thru it, but geez.... Make a version that can be read on all Kindles.... And when I searched and found it for the Kindle 2 all it returns is the Zadist/Bella novella. What a crock.
I have to add to my post. Amazon support was fantastic and refunded my money on this Kindle purchase. Thank you Amazon! I will watch for a version that is not 'optimized' but may just break down and buy the DTB.

I really enjoyed Bella and Zsadist short story. It was a really nice treat to see an update on a great couple from the brotherhood. Now i will admit the interviews characters part was fun but you can find basically the same stuff on her website, but they seemed updated. I really like when she explained the way she wrote each book. Speaking of which i was surprised and delighted the way she felt Lover Unbound was dificult to write. I felt Lover Unbound was the worst in the series and now i know why. The part of the book that was like her message boards online with the brothers was so funny. The brothers are dark, a little scary, but incrediably funny. And of course sexy i had no idea butch was J.R's favorite and blushes when writing about him i guess she has a crush on him lol. I would agree with her that i think Zsadist is my favorite.

Ward is a a fascinating writer. I have read some dry guides to series, but this one was great! You can't miss the short story of Belle and her family.
