“Uttering lines that send liberals into paroxysms of rage, otherwise known as ‘citing facts,’ is the spice of life. When I see the hot spittle flying from their mouths and the veins bulging and pulsing above their eyes, well, that’s when I feel truly alive.”
So begins If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans, Ann Coulter’s funniest, most devastating, and, yes, most outrageous book to date.
Coulter has become the brightest star in the conservative firmament thanks to her razor-sharp reasoning and biting wit. Of course, practically any time she opens her mouth, liberal elites denounce Ann, insisting that “She’s gone too far!” and hopefully predicting that this time it will bring a crashing end to her career.
Now you can read all the quotes that have so outraged her enemies and so delighted her legions of fans. More than just the definitive collection of Coulterisms, If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans includes dozens of brand-new commentaries written by Coulter and hundreds of never-before-published quotations. This is Ann at her best, covering every topic from A to Z. Here you’ll read Coulter’s take on:
• Her politics: “As far as I’m concerned, I’m a middle-of-the-road moderate and the rest of you are crazy.” • Hillary Clinton: “Hillary wants to be the first woman president, which would also make her the first woman in a Clinton administration to sit behind the desk in the Oval Office instead of under it.” • The environment: “God gave us the earth. We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, ‘Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It’s yours.’” • Religion: “It’s become increasingly difficult to distinguish the pronouncements of the Episcopal Church from the latest Madonna video.” • Global warming: “The temperature of the planet has increased about one degree Fahrenheit in the last century. So imagine a summer afternoon when it’s 63 degrees and the next thing you know it’s . . . 64 degrees. Ahhhh!!!! Run for your lives, everybody! Women and children first!” • Gun control: “Mass murderers apparently can’t read, since they are constantly shooting up ‘gun-free zones.’” • Bill Clinton: “Bill Clinton’s library is the first one to ever feature an Adults Only section.” • Illegal aliens: “I am the illegal alien of commentary. I will do the jokes that no one else will do.”
If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans is a must-have for anyone who loves (or loves to hate) Ann Coulter.

Ann does again what she does best, i.e., makes people think and consider. She iritates Democrats to no end, and they rise to the bait almost every time. The book is funny and entertaining, yet at the same time, requires that you take a look at the Washington agenda, which is not always pretty, nice and in the best interests of the American people. Obviously the liberals hate her, and she even upsets some of the conservative folks, but she gets your attention with her razor-sharp quotes and off-the-wall analysis. Buy it and it will give you another way of looking at some of our less-than-radiant politicians in the Congress.

This book would be best described as a "Best of Ann, So Far." A compendium of Ann's previous quotables on everything from the Kennedys to herself, and everything in between, a couple of hundred pages (or so) of sound bites organized into topical chapters. Each chapter is prefaced by a page or so of new introductory material. The book will be hated by her naysayers, but loved by most conservatives, who will find themselves laughing to the point of hystrionics all the way through.
Because her critics will post liberally, no Ann Coulter book will ever get a 5-star Amazon rating. How sad that those accusing her of hatred, again themselves not daring to actually READ her book, will quickly pull out their own little hate-markers and get busy doing whatever they can to pull her down. Funny too that they secretly wish they had her courage. (Hint: You're wasting your time... it doesn't seem to matter, as even the worst of her books will sit above anything written by Donahue, Kennedy, Pelosi or Franken.)
Like anything else she has published, this slim anthology is highly recommended for pure content of no-nonsense truth and clarity on the issues that define our times. You want spin? Carefully woven monologues that offend no one? Spineless prose that lifts up everybody everywhere at the expense of truth? Go elsewhere.
Best book of Ann's I've ever read? "Godless." Couldn't put it down, and in fact I use it as a reference now and then. Amazing.

See page 186 about Al Franken. This is one of Ann Coulter's high points in the book.
From Al Gore's "global warming" fiasco, to Ted Kennedy's "dui", Coulter is very accurate with the facts.
The chapter about Ted Kennedy is shocking. Mary Jo Kopechne died when Kennedy drove his car off a bridge and left Ms. Kopechne to drown. Because the Kennedys have diplomatic immunity in Massachusetts, he never served any jail time.
Coulter also covers: foreigners, George Bush, abortion, Bill Clinton, airport security and many other topics.
Ann Coulter is clever, honest and patriotic.
This is a five star product-

| Really wanted to enjoy this book...but couldn't get by the glaring logical fallacies. |

This book will not convert any liberal to conservatism. Coulter cites very few "facts," and the ones she does cite are transparently flimsy. For example, "80% of prison inmates came from single-mother households."
I always find it annoying when someone makes "facts" or the results of a study misleading. Coulter apparently does this deliberately. The most annoying quality about this author is how she whimpers about how all liberals (without any reference to examples) can't think logically and don't care about facts, when her facts are ALL misleading or dead wrong. I defy someone, PLEASE, to give me one conclusion from her book that was logically sound. On every page I wanted to scream, not because I hate her ideology, but her elastic legs supporting it.
