  • In this compact disc edition of the totally revised underground bestseller -- The E-Myth, Michael Gerber dispels the myths surrounding starting your own business and shows how commonplace assumptions can get in the way of running a business. He walks you through the steps in the life of a business -- from entrepreneurial infancy, through adolescent growing pains, to the mature entrepreneurial perspective, the guiding light of all businesses that succeed -- and shows how to apply the lessons of franchising to any business, whether or not it is a franchise. Finally, Gerber draws the vital, often overlooked distinction between working on your business and working in your business. After you have listened to The E-Myth Revisited, you will truly be able to grow your business in a predictable and productive way.

    The E Myth Revisited
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
This is an awesome book. It is a required reading for all Companies. I am a business owner. I wish I knew about this book 15 years ago. I may have avoided a lot of headache. Great book, with a lot of good practical information. Very informative!!!

    Entrepreneurial Must...

I am a firm believer that if I can spend $20-$30 at a bar on a Friday night, I can spend the same on something of value and educational. This book is a must read for those looking to start or have just started their own business. Very easy read, story like, with key concepts and tools that you can walk away with to begin implementing. If you spend the $25 on this book and it increases your profits even by $25 a month... is it worth it? If the techniques are implemented, there really shouldn't be a limit on how much you will profit from it. I am in the process of starting up my own business and am using this book as one of many references. Good luck!!!

    enough already

Gerber has packaged "old wine" in a new bottle. If you read his original "E-MYTH" book you need not read this one.The original was great but this one is a rehash of the same concepts and the extra "padding" is excruciating!I was hoping for the pie shop to explode.

Good information if you can find it

The overall message and information in this book is great..... if you can wade through all the extra narrative overkill. I thought this was supposed to be a business book. Sure, keep it exciting with stories and dialogue but this was death by unnecessary words.

    terrific
