Ok, this is one of the highly-rated reviews that I don't quite understand. I purchased these buds fully expecting better sound overall, not to mention better bass tone over the buds that came with my iTouch. I set my sounds to 'bass booster' in my iTouch settings, yet the Apple iTouch headsets still remain so far superior it's not even funny. What am I missing here? Did I just happen to get a bad set? The bass tones are completely missing, they fall out of my ear more easily than the iPod/iTouch headsets, no matter what size piece I use as well. It's just WAY too tinny...so, till I find a better set of buds (I'm considering the Bose) I'll be tossing these in the trash & sticking with the set that came with my iTouch for now.

Trust me when i say this, do not buy these headphones. They work fantastically until one earbud stops playing music. I dont know if its because i put them in my pocket or not. I know when people read bad reviews of a product they want and just think that it wont happen to you. It has happened to two sets of the same headphones. Do not buy them

These things are really loud. They blow away the standard ipod headphones. The bass is certainly noticeable, which is great on earbuds as they generally lack bass.

If you have the ipod ear phone these will blow them away. The v-mod has more bass than most but if you dont want much bass why would you even consider buying these headphones, it says it right in the name. I am a college student and i use these headphones daily and have had no problems yet. If you are looking for a headphone that is better that the ipod headphones that will isolate some outside noises then these are the headphones for you.

As a music lover who has gone through a handful of headphones and listens to music all the time (and currently purchasing the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro) I am FULLY vouching for the AWESOME sound from these headphones!!! They deliver what they claim: EXCELLENT bass. The sound is very pleasant, warm, full, rich, and the bass gets deep. DEFINITELY the best earbuds for less than $50, maybe even $100. For $20, a great value at that. Anyone with a portable music player, ipod, or even a laptop will love these things, you will hear music like never before (if you have never upgraded from stock headphones/earbuds). These come with 3 different cushions to fit all ear sizes, are very comfortable, look cool, and sound GREAT. Seriously. Just try them. The cord's a little short, but that can be convenient as well (if you want portability). I've done a lot of research and for earbuds, nothing can beat these for less than $50. If you're looking to spend more, I recommend the Etymotic ER6-i Isolators for $70-80 dollars (try Craigslist or Ebay). Go get these if they fit your budget and enjoy some good music and movies!!!
