| Not what I expected |

This sweater is much thinner then I expected. The photo shown to advertise it looks like the sweater is pretty thick or at least medium. When I got it, it was very thin & even looked stretched, the front design was very open. In the picture it looks like the design is stitched tight and therefore well made but the one delivered to me wasn't. Also, the arms are way too long. I ordered size Medium knowing the length of the sweater is kind of long, that's ok but when the sleeves are way too long, then it's not practical. No wonder the women in the picture has one arm held up and the other in her pants pocket.
I have ordered before from National & it was all good, but not this time.

I bought this sweater for my mother in law who is in an assisted living facility in the dementia area. The staff take care of doing her laundry, so it all goes into the main laundry area and they don't hand wash anything. Therefore, I needed a sweater that was durable and could withstand washing and drying without shrinking, pilling or fading. This sweater exceeded my expectations in all areas. It always looks lovely on her and it washes beautifully. It is well made and is generous in the sizing. I bought the size she usually wears and it fit perfectly with a little room to spare, which is exactly how you would want a sweater to be since it goes over blouses.

I really like this sweater. It makes a great "Summer Sweater". It gets pretty hot where I live, but the air conditioning can be a little too cool for me, so this sweater looks nice and feels nice.

I purchased this for my mother who lives in an independent care facility. She likes it a lot. She finds the light weight perfect for cool evenings in Wisconsin. She likes the pockets and decorative trim.
