If you can find it, get it.
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
I remember seeing this album advertised in the back of Fangoria magazine in the 80s. It wasn't until recently that I was able to hunt down a copy of this one. It's brilliant, along with the rest of their stuff. This is one of the few bands that I'd consider driving across the country to go and see while they're still performing well. Their 2007 shows have been spectacular.

THE CREAM OF THE CROP
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
This is it, the number one thrash slash hardcore album ever made. If you are looking for this and cant get it try their latest cd "Oh'Martha". The Accused are back and true to form. Banish all thought that this band cant survive today because the Accused is in demand all around the states!

The best Accused album and one of the best albums of 1987
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
From the opening number "Halo of Flies", you know "More Fun Than an Open Casket Funeral" is going to be good. The production is much better than in the '86 debut.

The guitar riffs are so memorable, and the tempos go between the furious rough and fast "W.C.A.L.T.", to the slower but equally as cool "Devil Woman" with the one of the best guitar riffs on the album. The drumming is kept simple and all the better. (Example: There is very little double-bass on this album as opposed to later Accused efforts.) Blaine's vocals are as screwed up as ever. The bass lines are okay but are really best showcased in the instrumental S.H.C.

When a listener listens to something like this, you have to realize that this was one of those eighties specialty type bands that couldn't survive in the early nineties and definitely not today. And that is what makes them so good: THEY WERE ORIGINAL! The Accused have some really good catchy albums in their catalogue, but this one is the classic. It is also probably the best punk/metal album of all time (certain "crossover" acts excepted).

I don't care how much you have to pay to get this one CD, it is now your life mission to get this on CD.
