Couldn't wait to order this and very disapointed with the CD. It keeps skipping. I should have sent it back but that was more trouble then it was worth and trying to reach people at Amazon to complain. Never will buy another CD from Amazon. I rather go to a local store and if there is a problem just return it nice and easy.

I would have given this CD 5 stars if were not missing his rendition of "Danny Boy" which shows his vocal range and control like no other.

Jackie Wilson could really work a crowd; after the height of his career, he was doing just that on stage at a Dick Clark oldies show, when he was stricken, his brain was oxygen-deprived and he spent his last years in a bed. Before that, Jackie gave us some heartfelt music, some hits bigger than others. This CD contains all you will need to know Jackie Wilson, the classic "Lonely Teardrops", "Doggin' Around" (overlooked in some conservative markets for its flipside "Night") "Talk that Talk" and the latter day "Higher and Higher". These are the hits. Enjoy them.

I LOVE JACKIE WILSON HE IS ALL OF THAT. I LIKE HIS MUSIC HE SINGS WELL. HE LEFT US SOON TOO BAD. I WISH THA HE WAS HERE TODAY AND THAT WE COULD EJY HIS MUSIC MORE. I LIKE THIS ALBUM I LIKE JACKIE WILSON . HE SING VERY WELL HE SUNG SOME NICE SONGS. I LIKE ALL OF THE SONGS ON HERE:YOU BETTER STOP DOGGIN ME AROUND , A WOMAN, A LOVER, A FRIEND WERE COVERED BY THIS GROUP CALLED KLIQUE. THEY HAD DID A GOOD JOB THE LEAD SINGER SOUNDS REAL GOOD HE SOUNDS AS GOOD AS JACKIE DOES. MY FAVORITES ON HERE ARE BABY WORKOUT,A WOMAN,A LOVER, A FRIEND, STOP DOGGING ME AROUND, HIGHER AND HIGHER, LONELY TEARDROPS,TO BE LOVED AND MANY MORE I WOULD RECOMMEND ALBUM TO ANYONE WHO LIKE CLASSIC R&B AND JACKIE WILSON.
