This place is not for vegans or vegetarians. I've been there three times and service sucked both times! They are BYOB. When we brought our bottles of wine, the host "your not allowed to bring wine". The manager next to him corrected the host. Their staff is not properly trained! We were doing the group dining (prefix menu about $30 per person). Since we had a vegetarian, they told us we can not do the group dining(six people + the veg). I told them I'm willing to pay for the seven for the group dining. Waiter was an asshole about it and insisted that everyone had to do the group dining. I thought I was speaking English. I told him pretend that she was eating with us and was going to order extra stuff. I was willing to pay of all of us. We got the group dining for 6 people got charge for seven I vowed never to go back there again. Your better off going to Shaw's down the street. Why leave boystown? Ping pong and Joy's is half the price of Vong's, and much better service. They treat lesbians like CRAP. This place is not gay friendly at all.

Some of the most unique and tasty thai food I've eaten (and I eat Thai food every chance I get). The seafood was so fresh and the spicing was unique and yet authentic. The shrimp and crab pad thai is awesome (the red curry steak is too). The prices are great too. Can't wait to get back to Chicago and go to Vong's again.
