In celebration of Governors State University’s (GSU) 40th anniversary, The Center for Performing Arts at GSU (1 University Parkway, University Park, IL 60484) proudly presents V. Holmes Productions’ “A Tribute to the Motown Greats” Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. The music, style and fun of the 1960s comes to GSU for an evening when the audience can renew acquaintances, make new friends, let their hair down and dance the night away. “A Tribute to the Motown Greats” offers GSU alumni and the general public the opportunity to take a trip back in time when Motown was king as talented Chicagoland vocalists perform classic hits from an era when rhythm and blues rocked the house and there was dancing in the streets. Show tickets are $23 - $43.
